About us

East Finchley Womens Football club is a non profit club that began in 2014  starting with one group of ladies at the Archer Academy in East Finchley. We now train over 70 women a week, running three different sessions and we have 4 competitive teams playing in two leagues.

We use the all weather 3g pitch at The Archer Academy for training on both Monday and Tuesday evenings (7.30 – 9pm). We also run a session on Wednesday evenings at Christs College East Finchley on the outdoor all weather 4g pitch (8.15-9.15pm).

All ages and abilities are catered for with sessions designed to be fun and engaging: our Monday session is designed for advanced and intermediate players, Tuesday is for Beginner and intermediate players and Wednesday is for beginners.

These sessions are designed and delivered by our 2 FA qualified coaches who are extremely passionate about their roles, and give collective as well as individual feedback.

For those who want to play competetively, our first team (EFWFC) and reserve team (the EFWFC Archers) play in the 7-a-side Islington women’s football league at Whittington park on a Tuesday evening – these players are best described as advanced and intermediate.

For our beginner players, we currently have two teams in the super 5 North West league (the East Finchley Bows and East Finchley Arrows).

East Finchley women’s football club is an extremely friendly, social club with players from a range of backgrounds and ages. We offer a free trial to any players that would like to come and try out, so don’t hesitate, get in touch and arrange your free trial.
